The hubby was talking to a few people yesterday. One lives in Kansas City...close enough that we've been considering taking a day of it for a meet-up. Then another mentioned an anime convention being held there in May. An anime convention. Two hours from us. Okay then.

It may not be my fandom, but I totally understand the mega-SQUEE/must-see factor, so I'm very happy for you! SQUEE!

Say hi to hubby for me, eh? Someday maybe I'll get to see you guys again.

I have to go to your town every so often for a doc appt at the Orthopedic Surgery Center, or whatever it's called, near the stadiums. Maybe we could figure out a visit opportunity for one of these times. My nephew works at a TV station there and often comes home on weekends--maybe I could come one time on a Thurs or Fri to an appointment via Medicaid driver and visit w/you guys for a bit before my nephew drives home. Or something.

You know me--I love dogs and cats! We'll see when my next appointment in Columbia will be. I'll try to make it on a day that will allow me to visit!
