As of March 29th,
School is currently kicking my ass, as usual. But it's my last year of high school so thank Buddha for that. But, really, though. Biology and calculus are basically the bane of my existence. Derivates and cellular respiration? I'll pass. French is easy as fuck. We basically play bingo all day and English is alright. My teacher is, well, not the nicest of people but I am able to weasel my way into her good books with my love of Sherlock and Doctor Who. I had to apply to university as well, which was one of the most frightening experiences of my life. I felt old and confused. I applied for biology too, because I hate myself or something. I've been accepted to Waterloo, Queen's, and Guelph so far which was the greatest relief because even though my marks are decent enough, I thought no one would accept me. However, I'm holding out for McMaster. They will not be happy with my calculus mark, though.
Because this is LiveJournal and people write shit on here, I'll talk about my writing. I usually stay away from any discussion of stuff like this because I think people will think I'm bragging or something, but it's definitely not like that (like, I didn't even tell my parents about it for months). Anyway! So, I got three short stories (and by short, I mean short) published in this series of books called Tiny Book of Tiny Stories. It's by this website called Hit Record (JGL is involved and such). So that was cool. And I entered this contest for another short story thing, and I got passed the first round so I got my story in some random book. I don't remember what it was called but it had something to do with memories. If I win I get money, though. So fingers crossed and such.
That's basically the most exciting things that have happened to me, really... Oh! Over the March break, I went to Italy and Greece. They were both very lovely. Especially the pizza and gellato. I've now been to a couple of places in Europe and I think it's safe to say that Belgium is my favourite. Any place known for its chocolate is the greatest, in my opinion. In this town called Ghent, I had chocolate cake from this random bakery. Lord have mercy, it was the best thing I've ever eaten. Oh my god. I'm dying just thinking about it.
But, yeah, that's about it. I spend most of my time on the internet, so my life isn't all that exciting.
Hope all is well in the lives of whoever is reading this.
