So, the first Community-Ep after having caught up deserves a reaction post, doesn't it?!

I read somewhere that Dan Harmon once stated that Chang will never be a part of the study group, and Ken Jeong also once said that it wouldn't be a good idea to let Chang into the group.

Of course Jeff wasn't running to Annie. I think nobody expected him to run to Annie - that's why I actually would have loved it if they had played that trope straight.

You're right, I forgot that the show probably doesn't have that many casual viewers who expect clichéd storylines.

Glad about the Chang-statements, I think he works better as an outsider/'adversary'.

I thought Fairly Legal wasn't all that bad, but that is probably mostly because I really like Sarah Shahi very much. The pilot felt like it was 2 hours long though. And I too thought the one interesting thing about the show was the relationship between Kate and her stepmother.

In my defense, I hadn't seen Off the Map and The Cape back then. ;)

Sarah Shahi is awesome and she managed to play Kate totally different from how she played Dani Reese. The problem is, I loved Dani from the beginning while Kate mostly got on my nerves.
