Maybe there were out to eat or shopping or something and didn't have an air conditioner in the car... If I had children, I wouldn't want them to be left in a hot... wait... yes I would. But they're not me. But they are obviously lacking in the s-m-a-r-t-s. Ah well.

Actually, it wasn't so hot that he couldn't have left them out there with the windows rolled down. Plus his kids were at least 13.
