The new Harry Potter movie

Robert and I went out to dinner at yokosos, then to the Harry Potter movie. I have to say I was a little disapointed over the movie. Not what I had expected. It could have been better. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. So, I wont say what I found wrong. But I just thought it was alittle disapointing.

Mike Newell had to trim a ton of shit out of it, or else the movie would have been over 4 hrs...

With everything he cut out, he still kept the overall jist of the story.

I would have preferred the longer version. It's just after reading the book, the movie just doesn't compare.

I do agree, but I've heard the "big guys" took heat because the other movies were so long... Something about cutting out profits since they could only show 4 movies in a night instead of 5... heh

I hope they do alittle better with movie five. You would think they would rather have people satisfied with the movie, so they might watch it again and buy it when it comes out on dvd. The only reason I will be buying this movie is becuase I am collecting them for my children, just like the books.
