Nice Turn of Events [23:36:01] Bob: Hey Alan. You on?
[23:36:34] Alan Davies: Yes, I am. Just winding down with some Zuma. How is work?
[23:36:57] Bob: Work was fine. Zuma?
[23:37:34] Alan Davies: Mindless vid, helps me wind down when you are not here.
[23:38:35] Bob: I have some good news about plans for our next meet!
[23:38:48] Alan Davies: Oh wonderful! Take me out of these doldrums
[23:39:06] Alan Davies: Where do I book my flight to ?
[23:39:49] Bob: Wouldn't you like to know? ;) Now...what do I get in return for spilling the details?
[23:40:07] Alan Davies: Whatever your heart desires.
[23:40:58] Bob: Well, you would be flying out and meeting at my place in NY
[23:41:30] Alan Davies: Great, NY is a shorter flight. When should I be there?
[23:42:21] Bob: We need to be gone by Sunday the 18th at 1pm
[23:42:42] Bob: So sometime before then
[23:42:58] Alan Davies: Great, I will need to fly in the day before. Do I need to book a hotel? Or will you be in town?
[23:43:39] Bob: I'll be in. Even pick you up from the airport if you want. Will have a rental car.
[23:43:53] Alan Davies: fancy, trying to woo me?
[23:44:06] Bob: *laughs*
[23:44:40] Bob: The rental car will play its own part. We are going to be going on a bit of a trip
[23:45:03] Alan Davies: So, should I pack jumpers, or bathing trunks?
[23:45:40] Bob: As much fun as bathing trunks will be, I think it will be a bit cold
[23:45:59] Alan Davies: jumpers it is then.
[23:46:10] Alan Davies: are we going for the entire week?
[23:46:26] Bob: Six days
[23:50:13] Alan Davies: Is this the time we get to play 20 questions?
[23:51:00] Bob: I am willing to play anything with you :)
[23:51:15] Alan Davies: That's the spirit!
[23:51:48] Alan Davies: Are we going someplace you have been before?
[23:52:01] Bob: Nope
[23:52:49] Alan Davies: Are we going to a resort?
[23:53:14] Bob: not exactly
[23:53:25] Alan Davies: Are we driving north?
[23:53:55] Bob: Yep
[23:54:17] Alan Davies: Is it a hotel?
[23:54:22] Bob: nope
[23:54:45] Alan Davies: Is it a private place?
[23:54:50] Bob: very
[23:55:04] Alan Davies: Ohh I am excited now
[23:55:12] Alan Davies: is it secluded?
[23:55:18] Bob: Mmhmm
[23:55:32] Bob: No one to watch you but me
[23:55:49] Alan Davies: So, I really have no need to bring the jumpers ;)
[23:56:44] Bob: *laughs* It will get a little cold, but I will be sure to warm you up
[23:56:48] Alan Davies: So you are taking me out to meet some wildlife?
[23:57:04] Alan Davies: That sounds good
[23:57:34] Bob: Well...not specifically to see the wildlife....
[23:58:04] Alan Davies: It sounds like a cabin or house somewhere in the woods, am I close?
[23:58:23] Bob: Sizzling. A cabin
[23:58:29] Bob: I think you deserve a prize for that
[23:59:01] Alan Davies: mmmm what kind of prize do I get?
[23:59:25] Bob: Oh, you can collect whatever you want in November at said cabin. Sound fair?
[23:59:53] Alan Davies: I will remember that *gets out journal to make note*
[00:00:21] Bob: I'll be sure to remind you
[00:01:02] Alan Davies: I miss you. Even just this - it lifts my spirits
[00:02:08] Bob: I miss you too. It is nice having something to look forward to. Imagine my surprise when I overheard a conversation with a couple of friends who had a cabin that they were thinking of renting out in the off-season. Pressed for details, and it sounds perfect. Even has a fireplace!
[00:02:30] Alan Davies: I am sure your skin is even more beautiful lit by firelight.
[00:03:10] Bob: Well I am eager to see the light dance in your eyes as we sit beside it
[00:03:33] Alan Davies: Thanks for finding it, it sounds perfect for us.
[00:03:54] Bob: You are quite welcome
[00:04:33] Alan Davies: I think I need to start counting the days- they are going to drag, since now I have something to look forward to
[00:04:59] Bob: We both now have something to look forward to
[00:05:26] Alan Davies: I miss you … I know I need to find a better way to say it. We can talk menus next time…I know it is late for you.
[00:05:49] Bob: It is getting a little late. We can discuss the finer details another night
[00:06:10] Alan Davies: Stay safe and enjoy that CA sun, take care Love. Cheers
[00:06:15] Bob: Goodnight, Alan
