I'm glad the trip is giving you what you need - space, and time. I know there will be bad times, but it's a good thing. Honest.

I was worth 15 camels, round about 1975! I suspect I would be worth a few less now, although I have proven that I can breed, so who knows. Arabic culture is indeed different. We take alot for granted as women in the 'western world'. I can't imagine having my brother be the deciding factor in any decisions I wanted to make. That said, it is incredibly beautiful. I was ten and I still remember the smells, the colours, the noise! Drink it all in my darling, these experiences will keep you warm for the rest of your life. Oh, and eyes down girl! :D
