Zapped

For some reason, this stunning and amazing discovery has me all jazzed and energized. Sometimes just a little piece of something positive, something truly hope-inducing is exactly what I need. Now, I'll try and forget about it for awhile so I don't obsess and can be jubilant again when they start rolling out this tech to the people.

hope, link, tech

Wow, thanks for the story. I need to add that site's page to my rss feed aggregator. I have a mental picture of Tumbleweed Homes covered in photosynthetic materials all pumping out power for sale on the open market!

I am hoping to see lots of new tech that eventually connects to each other revitalizing our environment and our economy. But maybe that's the tiny part of me that is still an optimist.

With a practical storage method (like the MIT system) you could have a mix of power generation systems to meet your needs in a darker wetter colder climate. Hell you could power up your batteries on an exercise bike if you had to.
