Well it was a nice weekend in the end, despite plans being changed due to the sodden ground meaning the larp was cancelled. Ended up in a Cuthulu Dreamlands run by Twiglett which was most entertaining. My opinions on isolation are quite complicated, having seen it from both sides. It is a really horrible feeling because it's such an assault on your view of yourself - you're not 'worthy' or 'interesting' enough. On the other hand, someone constantly needing reassurance is very difficult to deal with and sometimes it can become a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy.
Generally, I think we should just all try to be as nice to each other as possible, and be forgiving when we can, 'cause everyone messes up. 'Course, that's easier said than done sometimes, and equally, it's not helpful to be a pushover when people are treating you badly.
Hmm. Many thoughts.

That was a bit more of a waffling rant than intended when I started typing.
And yeah, there's too much and their's not enough and as most things in life things would be better in the middle.
