After over three months, the scanlations of the last Trigun Maximum chapter are out.
I've also found evidence to support that my first crack pairing might've been Bill Sikes/Huck Finn.

Way back when I first really started using my GJ as a personal journal, I got in a game that was based on the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie. I was playing a grown-up Huck Finn as a sort of monster-hunter, on the basis that he was always very superstitious in the novels.
The mod of the game, and someone I kept in contact with for a while afterwards, was playing Bill Sikes from Oliver Twist (along with a few other characters). Though they never got to meet in the game, we joked a lot about them getting drunk together, because it seemed like they'd get along well. There were jokes about them fooling around, too, but I can't remember how or why our joking got up to them being a pairing.
That silliness is what spawned these crappy graphics. (All the way from 2004, wooow.)
