I have to apologize for being short...of everyone I knew back in MI your the one who keeps in contact no matter how long I go without talking to you, why is that? I can't figure it for the life of me Shell...you doin ok up there?

yea I'm up in NC...I say up...DOWN in NC, other than the masses of Marines and me being the guy on the bottom rung of Uncle Sam's ladder it's kinda not that bad. My Gunny is really laid back and doesn't have us do dumb shit like you see in the movies. In fact he pretty much lets us run the show ourselves and if we hit something we don't know about he's there to help us out.

I'm off base now with my wife and pittbull, once you get past bootcamp, MCT, and school it's just a 7-4 monday-friday.

What's goin on up there?
