WoW "subscription notice" email - possible scam email sent to my friends

I received an email from WoWgmEU@blizzard.com with the subject of "Subscription Notifcation." The body of the email said this

only one slight problem. I don't, nor have I ever, had a WOW account

I saw that I'd gotten that email when I got home earlier (prior to leaving again for my mother-in-law's) and got a good chuckle out of it. Phishing scams are so terrible, but usually really lame and sometimes pretty obvious.

The thing that caught my suspicions is that I havent played since spring.And that I used Game Time Cards and not my CC.
