Laurell Hamilton, who are you trying to kid. Instead of spending an entire chapter describing Anita Blake and Merry Gentry, why don't you just tell the readers to look for your picture at the back of the book. *tilts head* that's what it's there for, isn't it ( Read more... )

I haven't read all the books, but somehow, I just keep reading them. -_-

You know, they wouldn't be nearly so bad without, you know, Anita Blake.

Yea, Anita Blake is so annoying. I like Merry Gentry much better. At least she doesn't have a high and mighty attitude.

Ugh...

I stopped reading her stuff awhile ago. It was starting to annoy me how cliche and repetitive everything was. And ye gods--yes! About the way they look. *rolls eyes* I know they saw try and use people around you for inspiration, but she could TRY to be more original.

I've always throught that Hamilton was trying to convince the world that she is beautiful through her characters.
