John and I spent a long weekend in Vermont where we visited a close friend, took in the leaves, ate way too much cheese and got lost in a cornmaze. Although it was past peak, the color and the scenery was breathtaking (as always). The colors on the mountains were deep reds, rusts, and oranges. I think I just have a strange fascination with mazes - I remember when I was little, we'd go on family vacations to Williamsburg, VA where there was a hedge maze in the back of the Governor's mansion. I always liked to go in that, too.
