PlayOn Media Server, TVersity, and PS3

In my last post, I mentioned how I've been spending way too much time in front of the TV, watching movies, and PS3. Which is completely true. I was a complete bum this weekend (with the exception of doing endless laundry and replacing a pipe under the bathroom sink). That would totally be the case if I still had IO/Optimum/Cablevision. 'Hate' isn't a strong enough word to convey my feelings toward that company. But now I have Verizon FiOS and I'm in love with it. I'm loving Hulu for old shows that aren't on anymore (like Benson).

Right now, Jeff is out buying me another computer to use in the kitchen. In the back of my mind, there's the "Now I will be able to run a line to the TV, and run NetFlix and Hulu through there."

I may, ummm...need you to help me figure that stuff out, though.

Start coming up with an idea to do something Sunday, maybe. Not computer-related, but something to get you out of the house. I have plans Friday night (Louis C.K.) and Saturday (estate sale, and then Jeff is at a concert, so I may be working, or I may be home with the dogs), but Sunday's free. Send an email and try to round up people to go to lunch, and then we can take a walk or a drive, or something.
