Hello LJ. It's been awhile. A long while, actually. Granted, I read you from time to time, but I must admit, my tendencies for posting about my personal life or well, anything about my life have been limited to (like many others) facebook. Unfortunately though, my reason for visiting and posting to you tonight requires me to be a bit more ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry to hear that Tom. Mavvy is such a sweetheart. I just hope that the best case scenario is the actual case scenario *hugs*

Thanks Mat! We find out the prognosis tomorrow. So far, so good though. Despite losing a weight bearing toe, he's been doing great.

Whilst it's a nice surprise to see a post from you, I'm incredibly sorry for the difficult time you must be having. I also lost my first two dogs (black labradors) both to cancer. I couldn't bring myself to adopt another pet until last year. I really hope that the diagnosis comes back positive and you can take him home for many more years.
Fingers and toes are crossed.
*hugs*

Thanks! We hear back tomorrow and with all the fingers and toes crossed, I'm certainly hoping for good news.

I certainly hope that the tests come back with good news, and that the cancer hasn't spread. Having gone through this with Katchoo last year, I don't wish for anyone I know to have to have it happen to them. I'm swamped for time with the new puppy, and work, but please keep me posted, and let me know if I can do anything for you guys.

Aww, I'm sorry, Tom. Good luck with the test results. I lost my Golden Retriever, Rosie, to cancer as well, and it was awful. *hugs*

Thanks David! BTW, Kyros told me about your parent's dog. I'm very sorry to hear that. What is it with dogs and cancer (then again, I guess the same applies to people and cancer too. GRR. I hate cancer!)

From me too. I know what it is like to go through something like this. My last dog had Addison's Disease that I fought for 3 years and eventually lost.

Give Mavvy big hugs from us and tell John to give you some from us too.

*hugs*

Will do! :) Mavvy has been beyond spoiled the last few days. That dog has me completely whipped. More food? ok! More treats? of course!
