I've learned to knit backwards (as in, left to right) but can only do it English style. Whereas when knitting normally (right to left) knit/purl Continental, though looking at pictures I do that peculiarly too - at least I've never seen anyone else hold the yarn between their middle and index finger. Not sure if any particular one is better or
