An additional comment about being outside the Star Wars premiere: I was standing right next to the photographer who took this establishing shot as he was headed home. This explains why I saw Mark Hamil and the immensely tall Jimmy Smits, but missed out on seeing Nikki Six, Robert Guillaume, John Ratzenberger, Christopher Lloyd, and a whole bunch

Dave Winfield??! WTF is right !

[my first baseball glove was a Dave Winfield glove -- Dad was a Yanks fan, and always bought us gloves "signed" by Yankee players even though I certainly never cheered for the Yanks. Used to go to a lot of NYY-O's games at Memorial Park.]

This is totally off the subject, but I just caught a glimpse of Dave avec beard and I suggest you don't shave it, and if you have, grow it back. It's totally hot. You're workin' it. Steve actually looks hot with a Van Dyck as well, much to his mother's chagrin.
