I just got home from seeing "The Village". In my own standard refrain, it wasn't very good. I definitely wouldn't recommend paying $8.50 to go see it. The movie itself was vibrantly shot; I had no problems with the direction of it. The plot, however, was silly and trite. And, unfortunately, it wasn't nearly as frightening as it appeared to be
