that's why I have family and friends. I'm ok. just tasting my fears.

I actually worry about that too, since given our family histories I'll probably outlive M, and we're not having children. The best thing you can do for yourself as you get older is have all your legal documents in order. And trust that there will be a caring, supportive hospice system around.
