So I've been in the US now over four years and every so often I notice a Canadian habit that I can't seem to adapt. This one is about money. Whenever I open my wallet to pay for something I always have a moment of pure confusion. how much cash do I have? Everything is the same colour!!!. I've tried to get into a habit of always sorting the bills in the same direction so I can find them faster. But the main clue is if I have lots of bills, they're probably 1's. :-)

The bills do have numbers on them. ;)

I'm in the habit of keeping my wallet organized. The bills are "faced" (all oriented the same way), 1's and 5's are in the front, and 10's and 20's are in the back.
