I don't want to ruin the coast but we DO need to get away from foreign oil. Fine the living shit out of BP and make them fix what they ruined. And KEEP DRILLING!

It is easier to handle if you think about it only in terms of brown pelicans or sea turtles or politics or blah fucking blah, blah, blah. I couldn't explain Katrina to people not from New Orleans and won't have any better luck explaining this. Fuck anyone who doesn't think this affects them in some way even if they don't live on the Gulf Coast. An entire ecological system, environment, and way of life is being destroyed.

Again I'm going to have to lie about where I am from to avoid constantly wanting to punch the shit out of people running their mouths about a place they neither know or understand.

I bummed Clint out as I'm into facing the worst mode. But I have to face the Gulf Gush and find a way to stay happy despite what feels like the death of a close family member to me.
