I was washing my hands at work today when I noticed about 7 tiny splinters in the bottom of my palm and my wrist. I couldn't remember getting them and was commenting to my co-worker on this. She innocently suggested, "You must have been working on something that had wood." I told her that I don't usually get splinters from that

Oh, I forgot that there was a conversation about that at work, too. My gay male coworker made some kind of comment about how I would not be able to wear skirts all the time if I biked to work. I told him the girl I was talking to at the bus stop said she wore skirts on her bike. He referred to people having to see up my skirt with evident distaste, so I said, "well I guess I'll have to start wearing underwear. "
