of course you could, not cornered into a corner physically, but you could be cornered as in being in a threatening or embarrassing situation where escape is difficult. There ya go o.o.

Why do they call it "head over heels in love" If our head is always over our heels?

Because when someone's head is over the heels, it's like they're looking at things upside down altering their vision a bit. And when you're in love, it does this to you. You're often blinded and such.
