full moon madness

It's been a horror week at work. I knew Monday evening, without having to look at the moon or the charts that it was a full moon week. The customers have been rude, aggressive and revolting. What I don't understand is, do these people think that by being rude I am going to bend over backwards for them? Nuh uh, I'll sooner poke them up the arse ( Read more... )

P.S I hope your blood results aren't too bad. The supplement I usually recommend for iron deficiency is the FerroGrad C you can get in chemists (the naturopath in me couldn't help it).

they won't be too bad I'm sure. I've just got to be careful with what I take coz I have a bad stomach. At least this time I got a lovely older lady who could take blood from stubborn veins, no butchered arm yay!

Maybe try some of the liquid iron supplement instead then? That's better for sensitive tummies. I think it's yummy and I found it in Macro, you can probably get it from health food stores, I think it's Ferol or something, I could check if you want me to. It might not be strong enough if you are anemic though:( Do you eat meat? I'm really lucky with that I absorb iron super-well and don't need to supplement even though I'm pretty much vegan. My gf is not-so-lucky though and gets anemic/iron deficient. The tablets can be not so tummy friendly.

The blood test I had a few months ago, I was bruised for 2 weeks, she was THAT bad at taking blood and it hurt. Yesterday I had two (one in the morning, one at night) and I didn't bruise. The second was a lovely older Irish lady who was telling me about her kitten that she kisses all the time and he doesn't like it but she can't help it, AWWW and she called me love and it wasn't condescending. :D

ha ha i told this lady the troubles i normally have and all she said was "look at this face" and i laughed. I knew I could trust her with jabbing my veins.

There is a good liquid iron one called Floradix that I took years and years ago. I don't eat a lot of meat, but I think my fibroid is making my period loads heavier, hence I am prob losing more iron. They're testing my folate and some other things too, didn't need my b12's done as i had an injection a couple of weeks back!
