i finally watched an ep last night, and i must say it's better than Queer as Folk, if that's worth anything. it was actually entertaining. why isn't there hot, sexy, cell-phone toting, professional-type lipstick lesbians in vancouver? i saw some once at Club 23 and was stunned. i agree with Katherine that Mia Kirschner is hot, and i like the art ( Read more... )

R u serious? the art gallery is the wall center place? I couldn't place it. It's that place with the glass roof and the flags? I try to play name that location so many times in that show, but some of them I really can't name. Like The Planet the coffee place they go to? And the bars that they go to? Jennifer Beals, Mia Kirshner are hot! Manatee story is so f'd and no one needs echo and subtitles. A girl is mute all her life and she suddenly discovers she speaks the language of manatees. WTF? So messed up. Ivan E. Coyote hahahhahaha so scary. I also heart the character that plays Marina because her character is just as bizarre and intense as Mia Kirshner's which is the reason why they should be together. The best thing about the show is that when all the characters are onscreen at the same time it makes the show so much better because they actually seem like best friends in real life and the interaction doesn't seem all artificial and gay ( ... )

there are lipstick lesbians tho! i saw them at club 23! maybe they're at Lick now? Marina is a dumb name. ppl probably made dumb boat jokes at her in school. Is she the slutty one? i like the slutty one

you liek the slutty one cause she most resembles a boy (slutty one - Shane)? Cas went to Lick and said they were all disgusting. Marina is the owner of The Planet and shes' the one that turned Mia's character gay. I heart bisexual (Alice?) and tennis player (Dana?) I think they're so funny!

marina is horrible, i hate the blondes, just watched the finale, wtf, this show is all "i'm fucking someone who isnt my partner". like EVERYONE. they're worse than gay men. even the really scandalous gay men. and they're not just cheating. they're all super earnest and without irony about it. i'm so passionately in love with you, married trophy wife! wtf? and portishead is not sex music

Portishead is sexy music. But yes not sex music, but in the context of all the angst that was going on in that finale I think it was quite appropriate. Ugh I hate Candace she must die! Yes they are horrible people. Marina I didn't like at first but I'm starting to like her, I think it's just cause she's hot.
