Have you ever went down nastalgia lane looking for something fond to hold to only to find bitter sweet memories that actually make you feel worse instead of better? A question for all you people in LJ land: Is it really possible to forget a loved one from the past completely? or do I have to still feel betrayed and longing for someone that wants ( Read more... )

In answer to your question: No I don't think it is possible to forget a loved one from the past completely. Because every person that you encounter whether it be a friend, lover, or significant other you will always walk away from it learning something about yourself. Whether it seems like they effect you or not you take something from it. The people that you surround yourself with mold who you are and who you are going to be. You may not see it now but it is very much true.
