It is It is! Windows is slow and sluggish - although that might have sth to do with loading excess software on my part - but Ubuntu is so much better! Plus, it's free!! Double-plus, it's got a gigantic community for tech-support. AND, it looks VERY COOL - that's the deal-clincher.
