Some Advice Please?

Dear Internets,
I'm trying to teach myself some CSS and Wordpress/Blog type stuff, and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions of books that I could get, and/or online courses/tutorials that I might look into? I'm someone with some HTML knowledge, but not a ton, so maybe I need something of a beginner/intermediate sort of level.

Check out http://www.lynda.com. There's free content, and paid content, and the paid content is well-worth-it. I also always recommend books from the Visual Quickstart Guide series from Peachpit Press. This one-http://www.amazon.com/XHTML-Sixth-Visual-Quickstart-Guide/dp/0321430840/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1240621741&sr=8-1-looks like it could be really useful to you. The same series puts out a book on Wordpress (http://www.amazon.com/WordPress-2-Visual-QuickStart-Guide/dp/0321450191/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1240621823&sr=8-1), but Wordpress is way past version 2.0 already, and 2.5 was a pretty major release with a lot of changes. If you're trying to customize a WP template, I've heard it can be a pain in the butt to make major changes...but I've gotten by alright with lots of Googling!
