After recent events in the land of Wales, we now have a cat. We've wanted a cat for a while, and now we have Zappa, the cat we looked after last Christmas. He's a fairly large and fairly fluffy tom, with a grey stripey coat potentially labelled 'blue'. He's also caught us a mouse already, and this is his third day here. Admittedly it was presented

Lucky! I miss having my kitties around. I should go visit them at Mom's house sometime.

I'll never forget the one time we had a mouse sneak into our house, and the girls went wild. They didn't catch it, but they spent the next couple of days getting this wild look in their eyes everytime they heard even the smallest noise. Cute little hunters.

I hate to say this, but you don't have a cat. In reality, the cat has _adopted_ you. It has accepted the meagre offerings you have given it in the small hope that it will grace you with its presence, and it has found them _adequate_.

Remember, keep the offerings coming, or it may deem you unworthy of its company ini days to come.
