Looking for tracking software

I'm looking for software that does a bit more than just a basic logbook sheet. I'd like it to be either cross-platform (since I use both a Mac and a PC), or have an online component that would allow me to upload data from any of my computers.
I need it to track:
  • Blood pressure
  • Heart rate
  • Glucometer results
  • Food, preferably tied to a ( Read more... )

Lifeform for Windows was decent. It tracked everything and then some and had a nutritional database.

I did a comparison of online nutrition trackers here:

I know that Daily Plate, which is what I use, doesn't really offer much other than activity and nutrition tracking, nor does CalorieCount.About.Com that I've noticed (I use it for weight tracking, since it has a couple of features Daily Plate doesn't). You can track heart rate tied to an exercise/activity in Daily Plate, but not just on its own.

FitDay, in their premium version, does offer custom tracking, which might give you the ability to track the other things you're interested in. It's $6 a month, though, and not much in the way of screenshots if you aren't paying the fee so I never really saw what kind of custom tracking it has.

I started trying out Daily Plate (now LiveStrong) today, and the food portion is exactly what I want -- the huge food database which includes restaurant dishes, prepackaged stuff from grocery stores, nutrition by brand, etc. is perfect.

Sadly, the export feature is done such that I'd have to massage the data before feeding it into another program, but I think it's workable.

I've kitbashed Lose It!, an iPod app, into being able to do symptom tracking. But it's fugly; I have "menu items" that are zero calorie and nutrient symptoms. Since it doesn't track times, I track times using portions. Silly but works.

Also, Lose It doesn't sync anywhere; it's only on the iPod. It'll back up its db but that'sit.

I use dietcontroller(.com) They have a free trial version you might try. I use it on my mac.

I have to have custom labels for my blood sugar readings, but they have most everything else, I think. There is an export feature, but I've never used it.

I think it was around $40 for a 2 computer license.
