I got my "Thanks, but no thanks" email for my job application at WBEZ today. I was kind of expecting it, so I'm not entirely heart-broken (at least, I don't think I am. We'll see how I feel tomorrow after the five-hour meeting with the new client, during which I'm almost certain they're not going to bother to feed us). Unlike Random House's wait

It's not to be this time, but you'll get your opportunity! This small setback will only cause you to return, stronger and more awesome. (Damn, I really should have responded to this post an hour earlier, when I had some brain left.)

Suffice to say: you are awesome and creative, and you will have a job using your creativity someday. It will happen.

And then we'll get our development deal, and Clone Ranch will be a household name, and we'll be zillionaires! \o/

Also, I am totally jealous of your beekeeping opportunity! I want bees!

I think GPC is the only viable way for me to get my hands on some bees (or, more practically, near some bees). We also have a bee-keepeing co-op downtown, but their classes are like, $200 and they seem to mostly be showing off anyway. (-;
