Ahhh, man, this is going to be a busy week. So, as a preemptive strike against insanity, I dragged look_alive to Shedd Aquarium for some much-needed fish-staring and fish-photographing (followed by a nearly hazardous amount of fish-eating in the form of infinite sushi). The turtle one, because a) it's adorable and b) the way it matches its surroundings is just so striking; and the fourth-to-last one with all the pink and orange and red and yellow, because there is nothing about it that is not awesome.

Just FYI, next time I come to Chicago, you and I are going to go there.

The turtle has the best grandma-or-grandpa face. It also turned to glare at me after I took that picture, because my camera's focusing light was right in its eyes (I felt bad). And the fourth-to-last one is probably my favorite. (-:

Oh, I never turn down a chance to go to Shedd. It's kind of expensive if you want to see everything but it's worth it, once in a while. (Plus, this time around, there was a Groupon. ^_^) Someday, when I'm a bit more affluent, I'm going to be a member so I can just show up and stare at things whenever I want.
