Really, what is with the term "hot librarian"? I may be sensitive about this given the fact that I am a librarian (the jury is still out whether or not I could be considered a "hot" librarian or not), but it just bugs the heck out of me. People fling this term around when they see an attractive woman wearing glasses and possibly a blazer: "that

This post is too funny. I use the expression "hot librarian" all the time. I had NO idea it was a popular term.

I don't know if it is a popular term or not, but I think I've heard or read something similar to it one too many times. If its not "hot librarian" comparisons it is nerdy librarian sterotypes. I guess its more amusing than anything but sometimes it strikes me in an annoying way instead.

Oh, the nerdy librarian stereotypes drive me crazy. I work in a big system with a lot of librarians, and have met maybe one or two people out of the entire system that match the stereotype. A lot of the rest are hipsters, which is probably worse.
