Okay, this is an issue that totally bothers me so I have to get it off of my chest. Do you know those hideous shoes called Crocs? I HATE them...that's right...I H.A.T.E them with a passion. They are the world's ugliest shoes ever. I'm sorry if any of you own them and wear them with pride, but I really have to break the news to you that they are

Live Journal has just e-mailed me that you have new user pics. Strange. It's never done that before today. I felt it was urgent, that I must see these new user pics.

And I too hate those damn plastic clog thingies. I thought they were just gardening shoes until I saw teenagers wearing them. At first, I did think... "wow... I didn't think gardening was like... the newest fad," until I realized that this was supposed to be fashion.

Remember jellies in the eighties? Those were even better looking.

I find that really disturbing that livejournal emailed you that I have new user pics. That gives me a stange version of stage-fright...its like, if my new user icons are going to have a grand announcement, they better be worth the effort...I don't know if I can deliver on this sort of promise!

I KNOW! I thought they were gardening shoes at first too! I was like, "hmm...there's an awful lot of gardening going on right now"...and then it dawned on me that people are just tacky.

Jellies...yes! I had a pair of those! But those were sparkly and stylish...sor tof! haha!

And gardening should be a fad. Isn't global warming like... the "in-thing" now? If anybody can make it popular, Gore can. Hehe.

And Jellies had - at the very least - more cut to them, more style.

Haha... I just had this really awful thought -- to buy you some crocs for Christmas!!!!! You'd probably kill me. Or send an assasin.

I think if you actually did send me a pair of crocs for Christmas, I wouldn't even have a chance to retaliate because my brain would immediately melt and fall out of my ears from merely being in posession of something so heinous.

Its not that I dont hate crocs, I just hate them less than flip flops. Its not that I hate flip flops, I hate people in NYC walking around in them, dirty flopping rubber...gross. At least crocs offer more coverage.

I have to admit that I wear flip flops, but I would NEVER EVER even think of wearing them in the city. I've seen city streets...I know what goes on, and I am not risking having my bare foot skin being even remotely close to where bums are peeing, drunk jerks are puking and roaches are fornicating. NO WAY.

Flip flops in a normal town, on the beach whatever fine. Crocs I think maybe if you work rowing a raft in a swamp might be nice or maybe Im just thinking crocs/swamp. I wonder if I'll eventually become brainwashed to be neutralto them. I got used to uggs to the point where I think they look alright on people (not on me though)

I'm with you. Crocs are positively demonic looking. Hideous. But I think rubber rain boots are hot, so I'm probably not the best judge of footwear.

Rubber rain boots...the kind with the different prints...those are cute. The words CROCS and CUTE shouldn't ever be used in the same sentence...or even the same paragraph...or even the same universe.

Actually I think the ones with the different prints are hideous. I like the plain black, or green, ones. On the right person, those are kind of hot. Okay, I'll stop talking now.
