you are such a homer. Jobs pulled out too early. While the floppy is now dead, it wasnt then and enjoyed usage on regular computers. If steve jobs took a shit on a piece of plastic you would buy it (I think he did though, he named it Lisa)
You think someone is a revolutionary for NOT including a device on his machine....is he a revolutionary for not having function keys? or maybe you will post in a couple of years on how wise it was for him to include NO 5.25" bays to add shit to your computer with. Last I checked, you dont even use that case anymore, and IT HAD expansion.....
Come talk to me when they ADD something that everyone says is crazy only to have it come of some actual and beneficial use, you know, like Charles Fischer did with headlights on cars......
Well, not to shit on your parade too much, but I do believe Firewire was standard on all Macs well before it became standard on PCs.. As a matter of fact, it was Apple's direct competition to USB, and was far superior, which is why you see so many Firewire devices nowadays.
I don't believe Steve Jobs was a revolutionary because he stopped including floppy drives on his machines, however, I do think he has great insight on where the future is in computing.. which is why when he came back to Apple, he immediately turned the red the shareholders were seeing into black.
You own an iPod don't you? It isn't always about the computer specifically, but it is about the overall computing experience. 'nuff said.
