Basic Black seems to work really well for the text, but I'm not sure for how long that will work out. Most text heavy websites (check most news websites) seems to emphasize a lighter color palette. I'm not sure if we should go with the grain or against the grain.

I also noticed you are a ".co.uk" is that going to be okay once you move here?

Nah, it's just for where I am hosting it for the time being. The domain for the website will probably end up as a .net

Well, i'm hoping the website will actually have very little uniform look. I've had a think and I "might" try my hand at coding some .php to make things a lot easier (like tagging and so on)
