RIP Ruby

My dog Ruby died peacefully today in my mom's arms. She was 15 years old. We got her when she was 3, I was in the ninth grade. She has come to be my furry baby, the little love of my life. Oh no, I'm so sorry for your loss, at least it sounds like you had a lot of wonderful years with your friend, and I'm glad your mother was able to be with her and comfort her there at the end. *big big hugs*

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I grew up having pets and was lucky that a lot of them lived as long as Ruby and it hurt so much when they passed away.

What kind of dog was Ruby? (I'm not an expert on these things) - she was beautiful!

sorry for you lose. however you got a lot of years with her. i wasn't always as close to my kitty as i could have been. he got closer to me towards the end. it still makes me crazy thinking about how much i miss him. he left behind a brother that was a litter mate. i feel bad for his brother. he looks so lost without him. we plan to give him extra love now. very many hugs for you.
