The first interview I had last week? I talked to them. I didn't get a callback for a second interview.

I'm sorry to hear this. If you felt you interviewed well, you probably did. We've had that happen loads of times - someone's interviewed really well, but another candidate has skills or experience that better matches the job specification in that individual case. So although it's probably no consolation at the moment, do try not be disheartened about future interviews. The right job for you is out there, and you'll find it.

Thanks. It's hard not to get my hopes up, though. I spent most of last night crying my eyes out, mostly over fandom-related stuff -- but I suspect that really I was crying for me. Fandom was just an excuse, you know?
