I still don't much like Dreamwidth, and there seem to be even less people there than here. I also think it's too early to panic - and that's speaking as a gay person.

It appears, for a number of reasons, that this claim that has raised hackles here and on Tumblr (and, indeed, Twitter) is probably false.

I have only heard about one person who is said to have received this particular message, and I am not at all sure that a) it was legitimate or b) what sort of content this person had on their LJ and whether they have any contact with Russians, and whether the LJ was marked adult content.

Tumblr has has its own issues with particular tags...

Over on copperbadge's LJ, when he posted a measured response to this rumour on an "it is good practice to back up your lj and save kink memes" level, he received immediate responses pointing out that the particular individual is known as an anti-LJ troll, and the whole thing is unsubstantiated.

He he yes I have seen that fan art. It's not my thing, but I don't judge. The site has some great artists! It will take me a little bit to figure it all out. Question- how do I reply to a post? Nothing I click on seems to be the correct option.
