Coach is gone now. He passed sometime in the last few days.  We learned of it through the grapevine we maintain with PCC fencing.  Bernardo and I spent the afternoon reaching out to all the fencers we could reach.  Feels a little weird, making the notifications.  Everyone was just so surprised.  More than a few are crying or have cried with the

I'm sorry I couldn't be there. I wondered how many would show up, but I needed to stay home and take care of my mom. I was extremely saddened to hear the news.

it's okay jon...a lot of people couldn't all be reached in time or at all...

he passed feb 22nd, we only got the news thursday...but apparently the family is holding a ceremony sometime soon up in WA state...mrs. lee is going and we're scrambling to send something or someone as a representative for us...we'll keep you informed...
