i've been back home for almost 2 weeks, and i still haven't landed a job. i've applied at new places, reapplied at old (ew, target), and still, no luck. no responses to my calls, nothing. needless to say, i'm feeling quite a bit stressed out from all of this b/c...well, rejection in all its forms gets a little old. they never got back to me...the guy i talked to was not very nice. he was like "we don't hire people who won't be here in the fall. so you can apply, and we'll look at it, but yeah, probably not." what is the turn-around time, usually, for restaurants? should i call them?

really? the dude that i talked to was really nice and stuff..and i told him it was mainly for the summer but i'd work during the fall when i came back on breaks..wow that's so weird. maybe it's b/c you haven't had experience before? i don't know..

and the turn-around time? give it like 5-7 days.

speaking of sunday..i actually work on sunday @ 4pm so i'm not sure when i'll be back home..it might be around like 930 =\ lol

i thought you had that great internship in DC?? ...is lowe's now a part of the defense department?? i bet you could build weapons of mass destruction in there...i always knew there was something fishy about that place...

but thanks for the suggestion, i just might be desperate enough to give it a shot. i do love cash registers more than i love being broke!
