My day was going really well as of 5 min ago. I just got off the phone with Guitar center and learned that I will not be working for them later this month and not to expect a phone call from them anytime soon for a schedule. The nightshift manager just called me up because they found a "30 year guitar vet. who can work a more complete schedule" ( Read more... )

I do have other jobs that I can take. I really wanted the guitar center job though.

That's crap. They can't offer you the job and then change their minds. It's inconsiderate and unethical. If I were in Everett, I would stab them with a fork.

Yeah. I would like to see that. I was a little upset knowing that the company I would love to work for had just passed me like a note. I do have a backup though. I now plan on working at the Kirkland one for my friend parson who does guitar repair stuff. He doesn't work for Guitar center but rather out of them so he can make his own choices on hiring.
