So, NaNoWriMo is well off the starting block. I had to restart, because my story was so utterly lousy, but I've got a fanfic tucked under my arm now, that is steaming happily away. As far as I can tell, it's going to be a Snarry, so I'm going to post it to the relevant community. However, it is in the early stages - and I have no set plot worked

I'm not sure. I think she might grow close to Horatio, who has kind of taken on looking after her. If Horatio's lucky, I might let her get better. We'll have to see. ^-^ This is just as much an adventure to write, as to read, I promise you :) There will be more either tonight or tomorrow morning. NaNo keeps me writing solidly, you see - and I -am- behind.

Great start; you write action very well. I could see myself there :)

Just one nitpick: The third and fourth doors held more Muggleborns and Mudbloods. Muggleborns and Mudbloods are the same thing, and I can't really see anyone on Harry's side using the derogatory term Mudblood. You might have been thinking of "Muggle", maybe?

Oops. My bad. I'll go back and fix that now. I'm typing this, the first draft of it, for speed rather than posterity, and meaning to go back and fix it later; but that one's awful. I was thinking Pureblood, I think - but I'll have to reread the whole paragraph to get it into context. Thank you. I'd have missed that one, otherwise, I think.

I'm glad you liked it. More action in the future. Crossing my fingers for it, at least.
