Thank you so much for writing this for me! I'm dreadfully bad at writing feedback (probably also because it's 2am here), but I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed this! I loved the look at Snape and Karkaroff's relationship through the years, and the ending! Oh! How chilling is that -- Severus speaks the Killing Curse distantly, as though he is speaking it into the mirror so that he might kill himself. Just gives me shivers. Much love for the NIN inspiration, as well. :D Wonderful job, thank you for gracing me with this great fic!

I'm thrilled that you like it, and hitting the mark with NIN is a treasure. I didn't know that it had worked, cause I didn't get to read it through too much before I had to go to bed. I love that it all worked though - and I'm glad the ending worked. When I wrote that sentence - entirely sleepily, mind - I realised that it really had to be the last one :) Thank you so much for reading it, and for having the time to review. It makes me very happy to know that you loved it. ^-^

Ooo, this is so vivid and emotional and gripping! I loved the description of the dream and its aftermath in particular - and the ending, gah! Wonderful and sad and moving.

Wee! Thank you for reviewing! Knowing that it works for you - and that I didn't completely ruin that dream scene - it just makes me so incredibly happy!

*wails* Well, at least I know where you get the 'evil' in your name :-p

That was absolutely horrible, but in a wonderful, beautiful way. I hate that Karkaroff's death got no more than a cursory mention in canon, and this is the perfect antidote. This is so cruel, I just wanted to hug Snape and promise him I'll only ever allow him to be in fluffy fics ever again :-p

Heheh. It's definitely from something like that. :D Because the canon was so vague, I could do anything I wanted with it - and it grew into something horribly, wonderfully dark. I'm glad you like it, and I promise to look after Snape...until I decide to break him out again...

Mwuahah. It's allright. I have clones. *opens up the cupboard and leers at the hundreds of Snapes, all bound up and wide eyed, stuffed into the small space.* Heehee. Doomed, all of them!

Too sweet, in the way certain poisons have that cloying sweetness that fool you into almost enjoying the coming darkness. Brilliant, love. Absolutely.

Daang. I haven't heard the song, but the lyrics seem to fit perfectly. I like that Snape reflects just a tiny bit on how things might have been different, and then gets on with what he has to do. Nicely written!

It's a great song. It's wonderfully ambient and fits perfectly. I definitely suggest it. Thank you for reading, and for your lovely comment ^-^; Poor Snape. *pats him* He always does what he must.
