So my partner at work informed me today that scientist had managed to synthesize life on a bacterial level. It led to an amusing chain of thought. So here's a thought. God created evolution. God created man in his form. Man creates life. Man is evolving to godhood. Heresy verging on blasphemy I know. But did I miss something?

not heresy at all. I would think. We are being of indescribable worth, made in his image, why not beomce as much like him as we can.

i would think that would be a natural piritual drive, to be like unto him, in all things.

I did not say we were gods... merely that we were evolving in that direction. Yes that means that mankind as a whole could aspire to godhood.
