I am ready to grow up now. That doesn't mean lose my (for want of a better term) "inner child". I just mean I'm leaving behind the baggage that's worn heavy on my shoulders over the past decade ( Read more... )

Darling, you're a wonderful being outside and inside. You're a true star and you deserve the best in your life.
Reading those lines made me cry, because I'm happy for you and because I'm happy for me, since I was given the chance of knowing someone special like you.
I send you love, flowers and hugs.Loads of 'em! :)
love.
A*

Thank you, A. I don't think anyone has ever said such nice things about me. I am overwhelmed and truly grateful.

I think you also need some love, flowers and hugs so ... stand back ... brace yourself ... here's some for you as well! *hugs*

Much love. S :-)

...in your 30s, your immaturities are now your eccentriticies!

Moving on means actually moving. And, judging from your LJ you've already started that.

Good luck

I believe eccentricity will suit me well! ;-)

It's easy to wish for change in your head, slightly harder to say out loud that you will change and extremely difficult to get off your ar*e and actually do it. I've done it now and with no regrets.

I say, this "growing up" lark is rather fun! ;-)

That's some serious stuff, sister, and I feel you implicitly. Sometimes affecting such physical changes really helps to make real our promises to ourselves.

I hope this new decade is bright and real and delightful for you. You look great!

to make real our promises to ourselves.

Absolutely. I don't intend to renege on them.

You look great!

Thank you. How wonderful it is to grow into your true self and be comfortable with who and what you are. I sound like a dirty tree-hugging hippy but it's still true.

You know, some people can just go and get a f***ing hair cut. Not me. I have to turn it into a philosophical drama. But seeing as I've packed up my cross I don't feel the need to crucify myself for it.

Much love and Scottish *hugs* for you my friend!
