Well, it's almost Thanksgiving. Feed it well until then?

The people across the road are feeding it. I know not what their plans are.

Right up until he runs at your car with his wings out squawking up a storm.

Adventures were had.

He is! Given its tendency to regard cars as opponents, though, I worry about its longevity...

There are wild turkeys in the area, but they usually aren't so chill around people. Or cars. It might be an escaped farm turkey, in which case I have no idea what its deal is.

...is that big for a turkey? I GUESS, GIVEN THE COMMENTS. I wouldn't've thought it was, but hey, you tell me 'large ground-dwelling bird' and I think of cassowarys, so, uh. Bias!

BUT HEY! DINNER! :D:D:D

Wikipedia won't tell me how big they usually get, but I think (I hope) that over two feet tall is a respectable size.

It's bigger than a chicken! And chickens are big enough they can totally fuck you up, so! |D

It puffed up, flared out its wings, and charged at a car.

Several times.

I thought it was going to take out one of the tires.
