Another day, another cancellation. My left hand has, for the second time this year, received a dose in excess of Yale's limits (but neither NRC limits nor in excess of what PET personnel usually receive). Yet again, it seems to be due to just doing a lot of runs and having to clean all the things! This explanation appeased the RSC last time; I hope

I'll be fine. Possibly inconvenienced if they get really cranky about it, but it's nothing next to the doses my bosses rack up every month, so.

FFXII is magical and I love it dearly. Vaan has next to nothing to do with the plot and is there to make everything less angsty, and if you don't gambit your party leader it's almost like being able to play it like a real Final Fantasy!

There are viera! You have one in your party. She belongs to the WHAT IS CLOTHING I MEAN REALLY contingent, but she shows up with Balthier, who has long sleeves and pants and everything, so it balances out.

Yu Yu Hakusho! Hahaha just a few days ago, my roommate mentioned trying (and failing) to find consistent episodes on Youtube, and I fell over in a nostalgia coma. If she ever manages to get her hands on it I will probably watch it with her, because right now the extent of my recollection of the show centers around their dub voices. Because clearly Kuwabara's voice is more memorable than most major plot points.

jkefka keeps wandering by and saying things like "Oh my god, his/her voice is so not horrible in Japanese! I can focus on what they're saying!" I have a vague memory of the sound effect that can loosely be called Kuwabara's voice and I think he's on to something.
