Something that's good is that the cat is munching away very happily on food and looking pleased as punch because he got laser pointer time.
You have my fiercest sympathy, though. We're dealing with different things on both our ends, but I, too, have so much on my plate that it's infuriating me how little time I have to be creative. When I do have free time, I just want to spend it doing mindless things like staring at (admittedly fun) TV programs and stuff. It's preferable to having nothing to do at all and to get lonely or depressed or SAD-dened or whatever one's particular issue is, but oh how I wish for a happy medium where there was less to do and the interim time was something where I could just go crazy with projects of my own.
